Reasons to Homeschool

"Education cannot be neutral or secular because education is by its very nature (essence) religious. And to defend Christians who willingly and un-reluctantly place their children under the authority of teachers that are enemies to the Bible and its principles is a most gross sin; a sin that just makes one want to shake their head in shame of such men. Public schools are typically enemies of prayer in the name of Christ, deny the authority of the Bible and inculcate perversion; not to mention a distorted, revisionism [of] American history. And I am only listing a couple things that typically make public schools havens for molding humanistic minds." ~Caleb J.

"To control the future requires the control of education and of the child. Hence, for Christians to tolerate statist education, or to allow their children to be trained thereby, means to renounce power in society, to renounce their children, and to deny Christ's Lordship over all of life." ~ R.J. Rushdoony

"In our day all religion is tolerable, except the Christian religion. The hallucinations of the humanists have become contagious. Now, even
Christians believe that education can be achieved without the inclusion of God." ~ Paul Michael Raymond

"In 1 Corinthians 7:14 the Apostle identifies the Children of a believing parent as Holy. When compared to the words of the Lord Jesus, in Matthew 7:6 we read that none are to give that which is holy (i.e. the children of the Covenant) unto the dogs (the secular state). Here is a clear command and warning not to render that which is God's to the house of Caesar." ~ Paul Michael Raymond

Even demonically affected minds understand the power of education:

"Education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed." ~ Joseph Stalin

"Let me control the textbooks and I will control the state." ~ Adolph Hitler

  3. Mrs. Q,

These quote remind me of a small book I read today entitled, "Warning! Public Schools Are Not for Children" by Richard Wheeler. It was quite an informative book, which has given me much to think about.

  5. I'm still praying that DH will be convinced of this but, right now he strongly believes the opposite is best for them.

Would you pray for me to be able to homeschool. I would really appreciate it. God bless you.

  6. I sure will pray, Mrs. A! I know how you long for it, and I will pray. I will even ask the children to pray, and they will too. Another of my friends was in the same boat as you, but now her husband has changed his mind and she will get to homeschool starting next year! I am so excited for her!!! I will pray the same can happen for you, dear mother who loves her babies. Hope you are feeling well.
