Mothers at Home

Children need mothers at home.   Having Mother at home gives children stability that can come from nowhere else.  Even if a husband thinks his wife needs to go out to work, she should make every effort to stay home.  There is a sense of unease and instability in children when their mothers go out to work.  Mothers were made to kiss boo-boos and speak kindness, hug crying children and comfort them.

Mothers lovingly dress their children and fix their hair.  Mothers cook healthful meals made to satisfy and nourish.  Mothers keep an eye on tempers and kindly explain God's law to erring children.  Mothers stay with the children all day and see what is needed to train character.  Mothers guard the home from outside influences that would be detrimental to the children's wellbeing.  Mothers guide and guard the souls of their children.  Mothers sing Scripture songs to babies and children, read the Bible, and read good books that feed the soul.

Mothers give the home love.

Mothers are not just cooks, dishwashers, maids, and babysitters.  Their job pays in eternal rewards.

A mother cannot be replaced.
