Trials and Testing

Bible

Hello Dear Readers,

I wanted to write and apologize for not being around much lately.  I have been going through a hard few months.  There have been (and continue to be) many various trials in my life.  This has not left me with much time, or ability to write.  And also, I have just plain been worn out.

But the Lord, He is faithful, to use our trials and sufferings for good.  I believe He will do it, and I have already seen Him do it.

If you wouldn't mind praying for us, I would so much appreciate it.  What a blessing are the prayers of Christian brothers and sisters!

Tonight, I will try to rest in peace, meditating on these verses:

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
~Psalm 62:5-8

For many years, I have slept with my Bible next to me in my bed.  There were many times I would wake up and read from it to comfort me.  Many times when I could not sleep, but I could fall asleep reading the Psalms.  And it was always a comforting reminder that God was with me too, just like His Word was close by, within arms reach.  How God's Word is a comfort.

I hope you all are well ♥

  3. When I was away at college, I would often sleep with my Bible under my pillow. There's nothing like the Word of God . . . . I know the Lord is with you.
