Appreciate Your Husband

Dear Ladies at Home,

If you have a husband who goes to work every day to make the living, you have a fine treasure indeed!  Especially in our day and age, where there is much pressure for women to work also, and there is added financial stress on husbands due to all of the government's taxation on their income, a husband who provides the living is a hero.  Even though this is his God-given duty, it will bless him immensely to hear you express your appreciation in this area.  Make sure you let him know every day how much you appreciate his hard work to provide the income so that you (and your children, if you have them), can have your needs met.

In appreciating your husband, make sure to do your best every day to make a welcoming home for him to return to.  There will be days we don't have as much success as we like, but we should make every effort to attend well to the children, keep a clean and orderly home, and have nice meals on the table.  But don't forget the important part of actually expressing your appreciation to your husband in words, with sincerity.

There are many more things to appreciate your husband for, and I will try to write another post on this soon.

  2. I woke this morning early. I spent time praying through some scriptures in my Bible. The house was in disarray after the weekend.

I was inspired to make one peaceful spot, then another, then another. Soon the whole house looked much better. It's been a peaceful day with hubby working from home.

  3. Greetings, thank you so much for this encouragement. To truly be a blessing to our husbands we must tell them and to use are words to let them know how much we appreciate how hard they work. It is a blessing to be able to stay home and be a keeper of our homes and our families. It truly is a joy to show honor to them. Great post!

  4. So very true! How many men would have a triumphant step to their walk in the drudging work day knowing they are loved and appreciated! Thanks for sharing with us on the Art of Home-Making Mondays at Strangers & Pilgrims on Earth! :)
