What Can I Eat Now? 30 Days on the GAPS Introduction Diet

This ebook is an excellent help for those who would like to go on the GAPS diet for better health.  A few of our children and I went on this diet and experienced great health improvement in the areas we were hoping to correct, as well as additional benefits we weren't expecting!  You can read more about about GAPS and why we chose to implement it here.

This wonderful and helpful ebook is a 30 day collection of recipes for the introduction portion of the diet; there are 5 days of recipes for each of the 6 stages of the diet.  The ebook is much more than just the recipes, though!  Cara tells us just what pages of the GAPS book are essential for reading, where to source foods, information on taking supplements during the intro, what kitchen equipment is helpful and essential, along with reminders each day of what supplements and/or foods to add in or be taking, plus detox baths.  I honestly don't know if I could have done the GAPS Introduction Diet without this helpful book.  It made remembering what to do so easy.

What Can I Eat Now? 30 Days on the GAPS Introduction Diet also includes a very helpful index and table of contents, which helped me find exactly what I needed.  The ebook is formatted so you can also print it out for spiral binding or to put in a binder.  I also appreciated Cara's inclusion of what to tell friends and relatives about your family being on GAPS, and alternative activities to do with people besides eating!  Trust me, this is really important when going on a special diet, as people usually just don't understand and think you're totally weird or depriving your children when you're actually trying to help them.

If you have health problems, it is likely that GAPS can help you, and if you want to go on GAPS, I definitely recommend getting this book.  It will make the journey so much easier and pleasant.  If you would like to get grain free meal plans, Cara has those available too here.
