In contrast...if Momma wakes up and decides to be cheerful, to greet everyone with a smile...the children are soon to follow too! They more easily laugh and play instead of bickering. To help Momma is a good thing, and they run up to her and hug her tight. Husband is happy that he has a happy, joyful wife. He smiles too.
By being cheerful, Momma is training her children to be cheerful. Momma is happy to be serving her family and providing their food and cleaning their home. She is showing her children that they are truly the blessings that the Lord says they are. But if she lets the worries of this world (or of her household) determine her demeanor, she is training her children to do the same.
Let us walk on and give God thanks, even during hard times. Our hope comes from Him.
