Just a quick post to let you know about a site with lots of free audio books! There are LOTS of classics, like Anne of Green Gables, Pilgrim's Progress, and yes, books by Jane Austen. I haven't tried it out yet, but just wanted to let you know so you can check it out! Let me know what you find.

Edit: If you are having trouble finding full versions of books, type the name of the book in the search box on the site. You should be able to find a full version audio, as well as where to find the book online for free.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Greetings,
If you're interested in homeschooling, courtship, quiverfull issues, child-raising, politics, and spiritual inspiration, try a free, no obligation issue of SALT Magazine. If you haven't tried SALT yet, all we need is a name and mailing address to send you a free issue. Or, you can check out our website (saltmagazine.com) and sign up for a free issue online.

I see what you're talking about! However, I did some research. If you click on one of the books you like, or just type in the book title in the search box, it will bring up more options for that particular book. There ARE full versions of the books that you can download as MP3s or to iTunes if you have that. They will take awhile to download though. Right now I'm downloading Sense & Sensibility.
Also, for all of the books I looked at, it gives you a link towards the bottom to where you can read the book for free online, if you prefer. I hope this helps.

  4. James, thank you. I actually read about your magazine not too long ago on another blog and ordered my free issue. It arrived a couple of days ago, but I haven't had the chance to sit down with it. I look forward to reading it soon.
