Feminism

"Feminism has devalued and defamed femininity. Natural gender distinctions are usually downplayed, dismissed, despised, or denied. As a result, women are now being sent into combat situations, subjected to grueling physical labor once reserved for men, exposed to all kinds of indignities in the workplace, and otherwise encouraged to act and talk like men. Meanwhile, modern feminists heap scorn on women who want family and household to be their first priorities; in so doing they disparage the role of motherhood, the one calling that is most uniquely and exclusively feminine. The whole message…of feminist egalitarianism is that there is really nothing extraordinary about women. That is certainly not the message of Scripture. Scripture honors women as women, and it encourages them to seek honor in a uniquely feminine way” (Proverbs 31:10-30).

  2. It is truly disgusting how some women behave, and dress, it shames women all over, that womens lib movement that passed through in the 60's was the worse thing in the world for us women, who love being women, and love being treated with respect and love from our men. It is really shameful that our gender has gone so far out of the way to do some of the things they do, I really believe it was mostly queer women who started all of this, and now the world of women suffer from it. God made me women, and I am proud of it, I like fluff and satin, and all the other girly things that are around. You will never catch me in britches or shorts or anything else that is not proper for women to wear. Shows way too much of me, and that is reserved for my husbands eyes only.

  3. This quote reminds me of the time while I was in Wal-Mart the other day, and saw women that were very scantily dressed at the top. They seemed to possess no shame about it, which was really quite sad. I had to "lower my head" as I passed them.

At any rate, I hope that you spent a nice holiday with your family, Mrs. Q.

  4. I agree with this! I love being a feminine woman. And, I am the happiest I have ever been in my God-given role of wife, mother, and keeper of the home. No feminist can change my mind about that.

  5. It is horrible what feminism has done to women in this country. Most have no dignity whatsoever and dress and act shamefully.

Barbara~I so agree with you on the shorts and pants. After I started wearing skirts all the time, it became very clear to me how immodest pants really are on women.

Mara~Walmart seems to have some of the worst dressed, especially if you go in the evening hours. I try to shop earlier just to avoid this.
