Shining Lights

1940s Portrait Woman Mother Holding Girl Daughter Smiling
"There is in this world no function more important than that of being charming, to shed joy around to cast light upon dark days, to be the golden thread of our destiny and the very spirit of grace and harmony.  Is not this to render a service?"

~Victor Hugo
As women, we have an important job to do--to shed joy around those in our lives and cast light upon dark days.  There are so many women these days who are not light-bringers, dispelling darkness, but instead are contributing to the darkness of our world.  Instead, we should be feminine and sweet, bringing joy and light to those in our lives.  We must not be self-centered, but focused on our Lord, our families, and our home, and shedding joy to those we meet.
