Yesterday I was so blessed by my children. They did not want to eat breakfast right away but wanted to present me with their gifts they had so diligently been working on. They each made several things for me (except for the two-year-old and the baby), and some of them did not get to finish all of the gifts they started so are still working on them. When I have batteries I will have to show you what they made. I am always astounded at their creativity.

I got to spend the day leisurely, without worry of getting too much done, as Husband said I could have the day off. In the afternoon the children wanted to play a game they had made up--a game about the "story of Baby Mommy". They had me lie down in Guided by Faith's bed while they hung up blankets around me as the "womb" (it is the bottom bunk of one of the bunk bed sets) and narrated a story of how "baby mommy" was growing and eventually getting ultrasound pictures. We didn't get to finish it because Husband decided to join me and so then there were "twins"--haha! Then it was time for me to get dinner for everyone.
I got to read a chapter from Luke to the children before bedtime, along with a story from Kingdom Stories Volume One from Pearables. I purchased these books for the children when we started reading a storybook that came with our homeschool curriculum that I was not at all pleased with. If you have not seen these books from Pearables, you should really check them out. They are full of gems of truth, for both parents and children. Pearables also offers training books for future homemakers, starting at a young age. I have the first of those Home Economics books and will begin it soon with our two eldest daughters.
