A Miracle is Needed

Home and the Homeless, 1856

Hello my dear readers,

I hope you are doing well today. Do you have a home to live in? Are you so thankful as the weather is getting colder? I know I am! My husband set up our heater this past week, and we are thankfully warm as the temperature drops down during the nights. I can only imagine if our family was outside without the four walls keeping out the elements.

The reason I am writing to you right now is that I just learned about a Christian momma and her children who are facing homelessness. Very. Soon. They need help. I so wish we had what they need, but maybe you do? Or maybe you know someone who does. Please, pass this along, let God's children know this family needs help, so God can work to help them. See how you can help here http://singlehomeschoolingmommas.com/?p=549

Thanks for stopping by,

  2. Sorry to leave you a reply to you comment here I couldn't find you email address???

For dress that our little girl is wearing came from http://www.katiesmercantile.com/dresses.html

They have a fabric call tropical fabric and it dries in the dryer in minutes (I know that the dress I bought cost more then what I would pay second hand but I have 3 girls this dress will be pass on so saving in drying time will be paying the dress in no time))

I will post soon about our closet and how I'm trying to down size first to save money second to save on doing laundry, less time in the laundry room means more time with my family :-)

  3. Mrs. Q,

I will definately keep this woman in my thoughts and prayers today. This situation saddens my heart, deeply. :(

Also, how are your daughter's kitten doing that had the bumps on his ear? I hope that their sweet animal friend is still alive.

Lastly, you will do fine with your quillow project. Just do the best job that you can. Your husband, as well as the Lord, are there to help you through it, so you are not alone.

Blessings to you and your family,

    -Lady Rose

  5. Renee~thank you! I can't afford any of their dresses right now, though they are cute. I REALLY want to learn how to sew our own! Those are nice dresses though. I look forward to your post on downsizing your closet. I need to some of that, as we have more clothes than we wear. Oh & my email is on my "About" page.

Lady Rose~Esther is still alive, thankfully, but she still has the bumps on her ears. The children are still missing Elijah.

Thank you for the encouragement about the quillow. I hope it turns out okay. My husband will not like a silly looking thing!

Thank you, Rosemi. I sure hope someone is able to help them.
