Alone, but Not Forgotten
Many of us are battle-weary, wondering if our Good God has forgotten to be good to us. Wondering if He has forgotten us completely...
You may weep in tears of silence in your room, trying to hide the pain that haunts you...trying to keep your children as safe as possible from the sorrow and burdens you must carry...
You may not have a voice...all freedoms stripped so you are not at all a queen who sits in equality with her king, but a lowly servant/slave with no thought taken of her...
You may carry weights that no one knows about, because they would not understand, or because there is simply no one to share your burden.
You may be missing love where others receive love; you may be scorned while others receive adoration...
As the battle wears on, and you feel like you are all alone...Nobody understands, no one believes you, or worse still, they think you are to blame...
Remember that Someone is praying for you.
I have been having many trials of my own and have felt very alone, to the point of despair. I have cried to God for help so many times and wondered if He would ever answer, if He would ever help us.
A couple of weeks ago a complete stranger stopped me in the parking lot and asked to pray for me. I consented, and bowed my head as my loving Saviour reached down through that stranger and gave to me a gift---that gift of reminding me that I may feel alone, but I am not forgotten. This is my reminder that yes, I am loved, yes, I am cared for by my Great God, even when I feel all alone.
Thank you, Lord, for Your goodness to us.

DeleteI just wanted you to know that I am praying for you, too. Everyone has times like these. I am often comforted by the fact that our Savior was a "man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief". I believe that God is making a table for you in the wilderness!

Thank you very much. I too am glad the Saviour can identify with our sorrows.
