We Gather Together~Sanity and Celebration at Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, you will not want to miss this wonderful resource.  We Gather Together is an amazing new ebook from Hal and Melanie Young (the authors of Raising Real Men).  This ebook is so wonderful because it helps you with every aspect of Thanksgiving imaginable.  The only thing it doesn't do is go out shopping and cook the meal.

Our family enjoys Thanksgiving because of the special opportunity to take a full day to stop and thank God for all the wonderful things he has done for us.  I know this year will be extra special, however, due to this ebook.  We Gather Together covers the real history and importance of Thanksgiving and even provides several readings from history and literature as well as several songs of Thanksgiving from the Pilgrim times to enrich your celebration and keep the focus on Christ.

This ebook doesn't stop there, however.  It also includes a traditional Thanksgiving menu, recipes for everything to cook, and a very helpful cooking schedule that contains a shopping list along with what to do each day approaching Thanksgiving.  Secret tips that show you how to be a better cook are there too.

At the end of the book is an "Order of Events", which suggests things for the "Master of the Feast" (usually Dad), to do and say for the great feast!  There is also a printable song sheet for an old fashioned hymn sing and a blank cooking schedule to help you with your plans.

I really enjoyed this resource, and it is not too late for you to get a copy, too, for either this year or the next.
